1979年サード・アルバム「Head Games」リリース後のUSツアーより、近年発掘されたサウンドボード・マスター音源による4公演を、まとめてコンパイル収録したタイトルがここに。10月22日のフィラデルフィア、10月23日ポートランド、24日のニュー・ヘヴン、そして10月26日バッファロー公演を、すべて関係者流出による、PAミキサー卓直結のサウンドボード・ソースよりダイレクト収録したもので、ボードから直接のライン音源ゆえ、一部でボーカルやギター、キーボードのトラックが、オフになりドラムだけになるパートもあるものの、アメリカだけで500万枚以上を売り上げたサード・アルバム・リリース直後のまさに全盛期の貴重なライブ音源。そしてルー･グラムのエモーショナルなヴォーカルを中心に、ミック･ジョーンズを始めとする鉄壁のアンサンブルで、グルーヴ感いっぱいのライヴを繰り広げ、メロディ重視のドラマチックなサウンドは、この時代の良質な典型的アメリカン・ロックと呼べるもの。
