すべてカバー・バージョンだけのアルバム「スクラッチ・マイ・バック」をリリースした2010年ライブ音源とそのツアー・リハーサル音源をカップリング収録。まずライブは5月7日ロサンゼルス、ハリウッド・ボウル公演を、サウンドボード・レベルと云えるデジタル・オーディエンス・レコーディングにてコンプリート。「ニュー・ブラッド・ツアー」と題された本ツアーは前半に「スクラッチ・マイ・バック」収録の12曲を披露、そして後半にはこれまでのオリジナル・ナンバーを披露する構成になっておりデヴィッド・ボウイからレディオヘッド、ニール・ヤング、アーケイド・ファイア、ルー・リード、トーキング・ヘッズといった興味深いカバー・ナンバー、さらには過去の曲も、これまでとは全く違うオーケストラをフィーチャーしたアレンジでプレイしており、さすがガブリエルならでは解釈がここに。さらにライブ本番前のロンドン、o2アリーナで行われた3月27日の貴重なライブ・リハーサル音源も収めた必聴タイトル。
