1980年今や伝説の初日本公演の初日となった、2月14日中野サンプラザでのライブを、当時としては良好なオーディエンス・マスターより、ほぼコンプリート収録。レゲエ・ビートとパンキッシュでスピード感溢れる、初期ポリスの演奏が爽快で、初期2枚からのアルバム・ナンバーが立て続けに。なお翌年の来日ではすでに武道館公演を行なうほどの人気となっており、セットもかなり違うため、記念すべき初のジャパン・ツアー初日のドキュメントとして資料的価値も高い1枚。
