『The Joshua Tree』30周年記念ツアーの終了後の2018年春からは、2015年に行なわれた「iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE TOUR」のパート2となる、「eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE TOUR 2018」がスタート。その北米ツアーからツアー前に行なわれたリハーサルとライブをカップリングしたのが本タイトルで、まずdisc:1&2には4月18日から20日にわたって行われたカナダ、ケベックでのドレス・リハの模様を、関係者流出によるイヤー・モニターからのサウンドボード音源にて収録。 ツアー直前のリハだけにほぼライブ本編の流れに沿った演奏ながら、本番では披露されない曲やカバー・ナンバーなどは要チェック。そしてライブ音源には、、5月7&8日の2連続公演となったカリフォルニア、サンノゼでのライブを、両日ハイクオリティー・オーディエンス・マスターからコンプリート収録。・ そしてセットの軸となるのは『SONGS OF EXPERIENCE』からのレパートリーで、この日も8曲が披露され、代わりに『THE JOSHUA TREE』からは一切演奏されておらず、「Where the Streets Have No Name」も「With or Without You」もないショーというのはある意味新鮮。その一方で、初となる『ACHTUNG BABY』の「Acrobat」や、17年ぶりの『POP』からの「Staring At The Sun」、そして「The Ocean」や「All Because of You」といった10年以上セット入りしていないナンバーが聞けるのは嬉しいところで、また「ZooTV」ツアー以来となるボノ扮する”Mr. MacPhisto”も登場するなど、聴きどころは随所に。
