元YESのジョン・アンダーソンとジャン・リュック・ポンティのプロジェクト、ANDERSON PONTY BAND（APB）が、2015年11月そのデビュー作となるライブ・アルバム「BETTER LATE THAN NEVER」をリリース。そしてリリースと前後して本格的なツアーを開始した中、本タイトルはその序盤3公演を、いずれもマスター・クオリティー、デジタル・オーディエンス・レコーディングにてすべてコンプリート収録。まず11月21日アリゾナ公演までの全18回の北米ツアーを行っており、まずdisc1&2の10月27日フィラデルフィア公演は、プレショーをはさんだ、本格的なツアーの初日となるもの。そしてそのライブは、、もちろんイエス・クラシックからポンティの代表曲、さらに両者が書き下ろした新曲を交えたもので、基本的には3日とも同セットで、通していえることは、ポンティの鮮やかでカラフルなヴァイオリンに彩られたイエス・ナンバーがどれも瑞々しく、アンダーソンのオリジナル・メロディとポンティの旋律の絡み合いの融合がぴったりと。またバンド・メンバーもジャズ/フュージョン界の名手ぞろいゆえ、インプロ・パートが毎回違ううえ、セットリストもより多彩で豊かとなっており、「BETTER LATE THAN NEVER」の全曲に加え、日本盤ボーナス・トラックにもなった「Re-Remembering Molecules」、そしてポンティの「Enigmatic Ocean」「New Country」「Jig」、イエスの「Long Distance Runaround」「Soon」、アンダーソンの「Under Heaven's Door (Never Ever)」、さらにはジョン＆ヴァンゲリスの「State Of Independence」など、アルバムよりも大幅にセットインした曲が増えているのもポイント。 あえていえば、現在の本家イエスよりも演奏レベルは格段上であろう極上のサウンドを3公演完全再現。 Disc 1 : 1.
