近年新発見のライブ音源やアップグレード音源のほか、膨大なインタビュー音源の中に残された即興の歌や演奏等を発掘したテープ等の未発表音源集がこのたびグレードアップして登場です。本タイトルは、元々少し前にリリースされていたタイトルですが、マニア向けの極少数の限定リリースであったため、あっという間に完売、その人気にも関わらず廃盤状態となり、コレクター間でも高値で取引されることになってしまい、再発を望む声が多数寄せられていました。今回はその評価の高かったオリジナル盤のマスターよりCD化。もちろんCD化に際し、さらに細かい部分（位相やピッチの見直し修正および一部音源をNew Masterで再収録等々）まで丁寧にリマスタリングを施したほか、一部収録曲目の差し替えと収録時間の許す限り音源の新規追加を行い、2枚組CDとしては収録容量いっぱいの延べ99トラック・約158分に渡る拡大盤となりました。近年新発見のライブをはじめ、さまざまな音源を徹底収録したタイトルが2枚組にグレードアップして登場です。★・・CD化に伴う新規追加トラック DISC-1 Demo Session Tape, EMI Studio 2, 5:30pm-9:30am, 1964-06-03 01.
