78年アールズ・コート公演から15日とラスト二日のライブをファンが客席から撮影した8mmカメラ・オーディエンスショット映像をまとめたコンピレーション。70年代のオーディエンスショットですので画面は暗め、しかもディランの表情を窺い知るまでのクローズアップには及びませんが、78年ワールド・ツアーならではのビッグ・バンドを従えたステージの様子に加え、アールズ・コートのアリーナならではの雰囲気はしっかりと伝わってきます。今回のリリースと同じ19日の映像は残念ながら「Forever Young」と「The Times They Are A-Changin'」という終盤二曲のみですが、ステージの後方から撮影されたおかげで、どちらの曲の演奏中でもライブ・アルバム「偉大なる復活」のジャケ再現とばかりに客席でライターの火が灯せられる場面はなかなかに感動的で、一見の価値があります。そしてもっとも多く収録された最終日20日の映像は一番ディランの姿が見やすく捉えられており、これまたアールズ・コートでの彼の姿を捉えた貴重映像として楽しめるでしょう。しかもこのDVD-Rを一緒に入手することでサウンドとヴィジュアルの両方から78年アールズ・コートのディランを楽しめることになります。是非初回リリース分をお見逃しなく！オリジナル・メニュー付き。 Earls Court, London, UK 15th-20th June 1978 AMAZING FILM COMPILATION Audience Film (8mm) 1.
