2025年10月KISS初代ギタリスト、エース・フレーリーの訃報を受けての追悼アイテムとして、1982年『CREATURES OF THE NIGHT』リリース時期のレア映像を、全てベスト・マスターで1時間43分にわたり収録した、究極のコンピレーション・ビデオの第10弾パート1がここに。これは海外のKISS研究家が膨大な映像素材を最新機器を用いてセレクト・編纂した、レア・シリーズ『KISSTORY』第10弾となるもので、今回はメイク時代の最終局面となった『CREATURES OF THE NIGHT』関連の、当時のTV出演映像やライブなどの各種レア映像をほぼ時系列に集約。まずこの時期代の最大のポイントはエースの脱退とヴィニー・ヴィンセントの加入で、実際エースはアルバムのレコーディングには参加しておらず、リリース時点ですでに事実上バンドを離脱。ただしヴィニーの正式加入が発表されたのは1982年12月で、本タイトル収録の映像時はまだエースがメンバーとして扱われていた過渡期となるもので、まず映像は脱退直前のエースも出演するシングル『I Love It Loud』のPV関連からスタート。その後はアルバム・リリースに伴う「MTVプレス・カンファレンス」の約70分に及ぶ完全未編集マスターや、スウェーデンのTVインタビュー、そしてエース最後のパフォーマンスまで、エースが公式メンバーだった最後の数ヶ月をここに克明に記録。Disc 1 :1.
