ボウイが亡くなってから、1回忌を迎えた2017年1月8日より、トリビュート・ライブ・ツアー「Celebrating David Bowie」が各地で開催されることに。これはボウイの友人である俳優ゲイリー・オールドマンによって企画されたもので、元ボウイ・バンドの面々や、多数の有名ミュージシャンが参加し、世界5カ所で開催されるもので、その初日となった1月8日ロンドン、O2ブリクストンでのショーの模様を、ハイクオリティー・デジタル・オーディエンス・レコーディングにて、2時間53分にわたりコンプリート収録。まず各地によって参加ミュージシャンは異なるものの、元ボウイ・バンドの面々が軸となり、豪華ゲストが華を添える形式で、このロンドンでのラインナップは、盟友マイク・ガーソンを始めとし、エイドリアン・ブリューやアール・スリック、ゲイル・アン・ドロシー、ザッカリー・アルフォード、ホリー・パーマーといった元メンバー。そしてゲストには発起人のゲイリー・オールドマンの他、ジョー・エリオット（DEF LEPPARD）、サイモン・ル・ボン（DURAN DURAN）、トニー・ハドリー（SPANDAU BALLET）、トム・チャップリン（KEANE）、LA ROUX、ジョー・サムナー（FICTION PLANE/スティングの息子）といった、新旧英国のアーティスト達が名を連ねることに。そしてそのショーは、冒頭から盟友マイク・ガーソンがピアノ・メドレーを奏で、そこに発起人ゲイリー・オールドマンの歌やボウイへの想いを語るスピーチで始まり、その後は、新旧の英国オールスターが入れ替わり立ち替わりで、ボウイの名曲を披露するというもので、全編にわたり豪華キャストによる素晴らしいパフォーマンスとなるもの。なお本ツアーは、2017年2月2日には東京でも開催予定ゆえ、ファンは要チェック。 Disc 1 : 1.
