2017年トム・ペティ急逝への追悼として、その亡くなる1か月前、北米ツアー終盤、ハリウッド・ボウルでの9月21&22日公演を、いずれもデジタル・オーディエンス・レコーディングにてコンプリート収録。そしてデビュー40周年記念ツアーだっただけに、ライブはいずれもデビュー・アルバム1曲目の「Rockin' Around (With You)」からスタート。ちなみにこの曲は今までほとんど生演奏された記録がなく、まさしく40周年を象徴するオープニングで、その後は『GREATEST HITS』と、続く『WILDFLOWERS』のナンバー、またそこに「Yer So Bad」や「I Should Have Known It」、遺作となってしまった『HYPNOTIC EYE』の「Forgotten Man」なども披露。40年の総決算を演じ、彼の最期の歩みを極上サウンドで再現した、ファン必聴のメモリアル・アイテム。合掌。 Disc 1 : 1.
