近年、信じられないような驚愕のアイテムがアングラで出回るようになっていますが、ボウイ・タイトルとしては、まさに究極とも言える衝撃のタイトルが登場です。既にその存在が話題騒然となっている「1980 Floor Show」の約5時間に及ぶ放送素材を高画質・高音質で収録。1973年10月18日から3日間、ロンドンはマーキー・クラブで収録された「The 1980 Floor Show」の未編集放送素材テイクを収録した本タイトルですが、大元は昨年末に海外オークションで突如出品された5本のビデオテープに収録されていた物で、合計10時間以上に及ぶテープから、重複している部分と「Carmen」のテイクを削除し、ボウイ・ファンにとって重要なパートを余す所無く収録しています。オープニングの人文字の練習をするダンサーの姿からしてファンはひっくり返ってしまうでしょう。各曲では、アングルを変えて、何度も収録する様子が克明に収められ、本編では見る事が出来なかったボウイの徹底したビジュアルとサウンドへのこだわりを収録する反面、ファンへの気遣いとスタッフとの軽口を交え現場をスムーズに進行させる優れた人間性も垣間見る事ができるドキュメントが収録されています。詳細な見どころはあまりに多すぎてここでは書ききれませが、ディスク２に収録されている放送テイクと比較する事により、放送では割愛されて30年以上の長きに渡り埋もれていた数々のシーンの重要さを認識させる、ボウイ研究用資料として大別格のアイテムと言えるでしょう。その他１時間以上に渡る貴重なボーナス・テイクも収録した、真の意味でのスーパー・タイトルです。 Filmed at the Marquee Club, London, UK on 18-20 October 1973 PRO-SHOT Disc 1 1.
