1998年にリリースされたオフィシャル『JOHN LENNON ANTHOLOGY』にもその一部が採用された1970年11月、当時の自宅アスコットのティッテンハースト・パークにあったスタジオで録音されたピアノ弾き語りのデモ・トラックの拡張版がここに。まず録音された時期は『ジョンの魂』のリリース直前で、翌年初夏にレコーディングが始まる『IMAGINE』の楽曲を中心としたデモ・レコーディングになっており、演奏そのものはラジオ番組「LOST LENNON TAPES」で放送されておりお馴染みのものも多く、またそこからの流出音源もすでに多数流通。そしてここでは近年発掘されたトラックも含めた拡張版となっており、未聴のファンにはオススメの逸品。特に『IMAGINE』のセッションでの演奏が確認されているものの、採用されるには至らなかった「Mind Games」のプロト・タイプは、この時点では「Make Love、 Not War」「I Promise」と明らかに別々の曲として存在していたことがわかり、またリンゴに贈られた「I'm The Greatest」も『IMAGINE』のセッション中にスタジオ・デモが録音されており、ビートルズ時代に一旦完成しながらも陽の目を見なかった「Child Of Nature」は、「Jealous Guy」として正式にレコーディングが行なわれることになるも、この時点では「Child Of Nature」のまま。また「Oh Yoko!」もカントリー調のアレンジが施されたリリース・ヴァージョンに比べると、淡々としたバラード調。そしてこの音源の中で目玉なのはやはり「Help!」で、ほぼ同時期のローリング・ストーン誌でのインタビューで触れていた「Help!」の再演を、デモ・レコーディングとはいえ試みているのが非常に興味深く、2分程度の演奏で、コードがあやふやなため、ヴァース部分以外は演奏していないに等しいながらもレア。そして「How?」の元ネタを明かすような「People Get Ready」からの「How?」の後は、オールディーズのスタンダード・ナンバーも飛び出し、「I'll Make You Happy」では「Cold Turkey」のようなラインが出てきてジョンも自ら苦笑と、とにかく聴きどころは随所に。01.
