この10月から11月にかけて行われた『GOT BACK』南米ツアーを追っかけしたブラジル在住マニアが自身の撮影した動画を一つにまとめた文字通りの労作。彼が参戦して客席から撮影された多くの動画が使われていますが、メイン・フィーチャーとなるのはサン・パウロ二日分とブエノス・アイレス二日分で、そこに他の日も加えられて編集されたもの。全体的にはアングルも非常に大きくて見やすいのですが、それ故にポールの姿が照明で飛んでしまい、せっかくアングルがクローズなのに表情が伺いづらい個所が随所にみられる。なるほど通しで見せるには苦しい撮影状態も少なくないことから、こうしてベスト編集にまとめてくれたのは大正解かと。とはいえアングル近めな映像ばかりでまとめてくれているポイントは高く、反対にアングルの遠めな映像は10月27日リマ公演からの「Junior's Farm」と「New」だけという徹底ぶり。またポールが照明で飛ばされ気味だったことが逆に功を奏したのが「Dance Tonight」。彼の後ろでおなじみのダンスを披露するドラムのエイヴの姿を終始捉えてくれているのは愉快の一言。さらに10月11日のサンチアゴ公演の「I've Just Seen A Face」を始める前に観客の声援に対してハイテンションに叫んで返して見せるポールの姿も傑作な場面。何と言っても複数公演から編集されたからこその選曲の妙が素晴らしく、演奏回数こそ減ってしまったのの、今年も取り上げてくれているのがマニア泣かせなツアー初日モンテビデオでの「She's A Woman」の演奏シーン。さらなる驚きは近年はサウンドチェック用レパートリーに成り下がってしまっていたビートル・クラシック「Day Tripper」サンパウロ二日目での復活など、このツアーのセトリの魅力が見事にまとめられている。そして「Lady Madonna」以降はステージ上のポールの姿が照明に飛んでしまう頻度も減って映像が一気に見やすくなるのがありがたい。同じオーディエンスショットでも一公演の完全収録映像とはまた違った魅力全開のマニア労作映像お試しください。Got Back South America Tour 2024 Disc 1(76:22) 1.
